This week's links ...
The summer holidays, with only a handful of perfect beach days, ended this week and the kids are back at school ... well apart from The Big Girl who is now a uni student.
Our holidays were spent down at my parents place so cooking was a shared responsibility. This week I had to wrench myself back to the reality of planning, shopping, cooking so we tried a few new recipes that were winners. One Tray Hoisin Peanut Chicken I served with steamed snow peas and broccolini. Since I have a reasonable sized basil plant in the garden, a piece of parmesan in the fridge and a handful of pinenuts I decided to whizz up a quick basil pesto instead of the kale pesto in Oven Roasted Meatballs.
Since Hubby is in full training for the Paris marathon in April, good fuelling is on my mind and this recovery salad hit the spot with BBQ meat for dinner then lunch by itself the next day.
I've moved my bullet journaling from the Leuchtturm grid notebook into a Traveler's Company Notebook. Like my bullet journal this notebook functions as a catch all and combines both planning and recording, but I'd like to expand my journaling this year. 14 Ways to Make Journaling One of the Best Things You do in 2018.
