The first step of this recipe is a bit strange but do it ... she's right ... the result is the most tender chicken I've had in a homemade stirfry. I put carrots and broccoli in my version. As I've said before, I always add extra vegetables. The other change ... no cashews. Not intentional. I thought I had them but when I went to the cupboard realised I only had peanuts and almonds. A hit with the kids ... probably partly because there was no cashews in it!
