I bought some pork cutlets the other day and I had a kind of old, in desperate need of eating, piece of red cabbage, so I went in search of a recipe for dinner. I also had a few apples that had been back and forth from in the school lunchboxes and so had developed a few bruises and an orange I'd bought for another recipe and forgotten about so pork with apple and red cabbage was pretty much perfect.
I served it up with creamy mashed potatoes and some yellow beans from our garden ... YUM!!
