Hit the park early this morning and there were no queues. We did most of the rides in Adventure Land, New Orleans Square, Critter Country and Frontierland before 10:30am. The Boy couldn't ride Indiana Jones so after we'd done the rides once I went on and the girls got a second ride while Hubby took The Boy for a second run around the Haunted House. We all rode Pirates of the Caribbean twice because it is supposed to be shut from Monday. After that the lines started building up so we explored the Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island.
After that we took a break and had some lunch at Downtown Disney before heading back to the hotel for some downtime. I did some shopping for Little Girl's birthday while the kids had a swim and Hubby did the laundry.
Back at the park in the afternoon we did the quintessential disney ride - "It's a Small World". The Boy loved it so I took him for a second ride while Hubby was off with the girls doing more The Matterhorn. Hubby said it was okay once but he just couldn't do it again ... listening to the song anymore would be just too much. The Boy was transfixed by all the detail and movement.
We had decided to see Fantasmic tonight so we went early and staked out our spot ... a reasonable view from the bridge. People start waiting 3-4 hours ahead of time but the kids were pretty good, they worked on their journals and we took it in turns to go and get some tea. For the last half hour the disney people make everyone stand up so that was tiring but we were right on the rail. The kids loved the show though, very spectacular and kept Big Girl happy with a dragon and the others with all the disney characters.
We took the kids for icecream after the fireworks were finished so by the time we got to bed it was close to 11PM, a big day.
