Day 21 - San Diego to Disneyland via Legoland

Our plan to drive through La Jolla this morning and check out the beaches was impeded by the thick marine layer ...

so we arrived at legoland a little before opening time. There was no one there so we hardly had to wait for any rides. First up we took a nice relaxing cruise around the lego replicas of sites around the world.

The Boy was a little bit wary of rollercoasters after his experience at Seaworld so he sat out a few of the rides at the start but as the day went on he got more adventurous and did some rollercoasters ...

He also conquered his fear of covered slides.

The Girls love the scary ides. Little Girl was disappointed that she could only go to level 2 on the Knight's Tournament ... Big Girl worked up to level 5 with Hubby ... Hubby was not feeling too well afterwards.

Miniworld was fantastic:

While the kids were on the big adventure playground Hubby and I had some apple fries ... took me back to making apple fritters down at Pt Lonsdale with my friend as teenagers.

The kids also got their driving licences. The Boy ... checking the ladeez.
