My dreams ...

... that is the ones I have when I'm asleep. Still trying to follow the blog prompts at DID today's from Heather is about dreams.

I have vivid dreams. They are often very bizarre or scary. Geoff has been woken up any number of times during the middle of the night with me slapping the bed covers yelling BUGS! BUGS! The first few times he thought there really was something in the bed. I have often woken to find myself standing up out of bed and wondering what it was I was supposed to be doing, then realising it was a dream.

The girls started holidays this week - don't know how I'm going to last 3 weeks with them all home. This week Ethan still had kinder and swimming lessons were still on. We have Sara's birthday party in the middle of the holidays and I've planned to take the girls to the NGV for a workshop next Thursday which should be good. I'm also in the middle of spring cleaning the house - HELP! I'm hoping Geoff can get some time off and we can get away for a long weekend the last few days of the holidays - he hasn't committed yet.

CT Kit: April Staker's Girl's Camp

I just loved using April Staker's Girls Camp this month. The elements have a beautiful look to them and the colours are really unique. There are a lot of different flowers that can be layered together with the buttons for a beautiful 3-D look and there is also straight and crumpled ribbons included. April has also included some great ready made clusters which make creating layouts a breeze. There is also TWO alphas and some notepaper. This kit really stands out among a lot of the kits for girls. Preview below, click to go to the store. Followed by my layouts.
We went to Collingwood Children's Farm for the afternoon with Hayley's class:

Don't Look Now

I won the humpday lift on Lauren Reid's team blog with my layout Don't Look Now. I took this photo of Ethan in June and hadn't done anything with it but I think it looks quite effective cropped wide.

Credits here

I have more good news, I won a guest spot on Amber Cleggs CT team and got the first links this week. They aren't in store yet so I can't post any layouts - what this space.

And some silliness:

Your Brain is Purple

Of all the brain types, yours is the most idealistic.
You tend to think wild, amazing thoughts. Your dreams and fantasies are intense.
Your thoughts are creative, inventive, and without boundaries.

You tend to spend a lot of time thinking of fictional people and places - or a very different life for yourself.

The blog prompt @ DID for the weekend was "describe your perfect road trip!"

I would love to take the kids on a roadtrip in western USA. My parents took us when we were at school and we went to SanFrancisco, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and LA it was fantastic. Of course the kids would be angels in the back of the car and we would all enjoy long hikes and bike riding along the way - LOL. We're hoping to do this in a couple of years.
